United States Super Trucks Announces Safety-Kleen Night at the Races at Lucas ...

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- September 24th, 2011 will be Safety-Kleen Night at the Races at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, IN. The United States Super Trucks National Series Presented by Safety-Kleen along with the Advanced Racing Association Late Models and Modifieds will be returning once again to Lucas Oil Raceway to do battle at this very famous race track. The Grandstands will be filled with Race Fans, Safety-Kleen Employees, Customers and we are honored to have the men and women of the UAW as our Special Guests. Super Truck Drivers from eight different States converged on Lucas Oil Raceway last month, and along with the ARA Late Models and Modifieds they put on a great show for the fans. The Kids and Adults alike especially enjoyed the "On Track" Autograph Session where they could get up close and personal with some of the great Racers in the country. This event will be no different and who knows you could be meeting one of the "Young Guns" in these Series that could be on the NASCAR Circuit sometime in the near future.

CLERMONT, Ind. – The 60th anniversary season of the NHRA comes to Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis for the 57th running of the Mac Tools U. S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil, and to celebrate the event, Lucas Oil is sponsoring a limited number of specially-priced general admission tickets during the weekend in honor of NHRA’s 60th anniversary season. A total of 6,000 tickets will be offered to the public at the low price of $20 per ticket with 2,000 available for Friday, 1,000 tickets each on both Saturday and Sunday and 2,000 tickets on Monday. Throughout the years fans at Lucas Oil Raceway have cheered on drag racing immortals like Shirley Muldowney, Bob Glidden, “Big Daddy” Don Garlits, Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen and Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, as they raced to the winner’s circle and etched their names into the NHRA record book. Today’s stars – such as eight-time Mac Tools U.S. Nationals Top Fuel winner Tony Schumacher and four-time Funny Car winner John Force – will be racing at more than 300 mph to continue to build upon their legacies. For many of the competitors, the race has evolved into much more than an annual contest of speed. For those who seek to become a part of its mystique, winning the event has become a must for any great driver to complete his or her resume.

NHRA OFFERS FREE ADMISSION TO ACTIVE MILITARY

As a special thank you to all that have bravely served our country, the NHRA will offer free general admission tickets to both active and retired military for the Friday night qualifying session during the Mac Tools U. S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis on Sept. 2.
