9/11 marked with tributes and tears

"I wasn't old enough to grasp the gravity of the situation then," he said. "Coming here, I understand."

In Shanksville, lines of cars started winding their way up the hill to the Flight 93 National Memorial as the sun started to rise. Traffic was already backed up at 6:30 a.m.

"This place is like no other … passengers of Flight 93 charted a new course," said Gov. Tom Corbett . "They engaged in that battle armed only with the knowledge that they were right."

"Clearly this site is the home of the brave," he said.

More than 7,000 people went to Saturday's dedication of the memorial for the 40 passengers and crew aboard the jet who fought back against their hijackers.

On Sunday the service began at 9:40 a.m. under mostly sunny skies with prayers and moments of silence marking the moments of impact of each one of the hijacked planes. In an emotional display, family members read the names of every one of the 40 victims, many of their voices breaking: "My husband Edward Porter Felt … My son Toshiya Kuge…"

"This is not an easy morning," said Gordon Felt, whose brother Edward Porter Felt died in the crash. "While we can never be healed, we can embrace the healing process."

The Shanksville site stands apart from the other two 9/11 landmarks because it is in a remote, rural area in the heartland with no high rises, congested streets and freeways and few people. Security was subtle as visitors got close to the memorial, a sleek wall that follows the flight path of the ill-fated flight and brings visitors within 100 yards of the crash site.

A row of 40 marble blocks are etched each with the name of every passenger and crewmember who died.

The ceremony highlighted many of the local groups who were touched by the tragedy when Flight 93 crashed into the middle of the field.

The Journal News in Westchester County, is not a perfect newspaper because they are embedded inside the swampy cesspool that plagues Westchester County Residents for years, "Political Public Corruption" and coverups. They have supported the Secret Society that is embedded inside the "Who do you know club," it’s a Political Society inside the Board of Elections and all the Political Parties that are involved in the Political Elections. The Secret Society has covered up for the Former Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro, as she terrorized everyday citizens, putting false charges on them, while using the local news media and newspapers, Journal News, New York Times, New York Post, Daily News, News 12 Westchester, and Fox 5 News to discredit good people with consistent character, respectful family names, and respectful United States Citizens. Jeanine Pirro would dictate to the “News Media” for one reason only, she had no substantial evidence against the innocent she was accusing, and that is why she had to paint them in a “Racist” light for the public eye, she had to win the case, and she did that by polluting the minds of the readers. The Journal News is guilty of doing that, and I know the truth because they did it to me, I was innocent, I’m Barbara Ricci, my title, Mrs. Westchester County, New York USA. I was one of Jeanine Pirro’s political favors, she thought she would ruin my political career by putting false charges on me, no chance, today, I’m National Press, and I’m here to tell my story. This will be in my book “I’m Still Standing” and I expose all of them by name. The Journal News writers and editors have no morals, nor do the New York Times writers, they’re all politically connected and evil. When someone like “Mr.
