New Dragon Quest Trailer Reveals a Game That Will Never Come to ...
How would you like a disc that contains Dragon Quest I through III, both the NES and unrelased in America SNES versions? What if that bundle also threw in a mini-medal replica, intro cut-scenes made specially for this version, and a reprint of the games strategy guides as they appeared in Famitsu magazine?
That's the Dragon Quest Collection package that's coming to Japan this year to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary. But something this in-depth (and on Wii) will almost assuredly never come to the States.

I totally would like a disc like this. I know that Nintendo has published a lot of Square-Enix stuff lately, just to make sure that it arrives to please hardcore fans of Nintendo's platforms (Dragon Quest VI and IX come to mind, for instance, and I believe Nintendo is also publishing the upcoming Dragon Quest Monsters release), but this is a Wii game and--given Nintendo's attitudes on that particular platform as of late--the chance that we'll see it released her by Nintendo are slim. Even Atlus, XSEED and NIS America seem like longshots, and I'm not sure UTV Ignition has the clout. You're right in that we'll probably never see the game released here and that makes me very, very sad.
